I am a Pre-K teacher here at Jacksboro Elementary. This is my fifth year teaching  Pre- K  and I LOVE it! I have 28 years of teaching experience. All of them here at Jacksboro. I taught 3rd grade for 2 years, Kindergarten for 15 years, 2nd grade for 6 years, and now Pre K. I am blessed to work at a fantastic school with awesome co-workers. I have additional certifications for Gifted and Talented, ESL ( English as a Second Language), and Special Education.

I have two children. My daughter Caitlin is 26 and a Solaris nurse in Stephenville. She has two daughters Carver, who is 4 and Haven who is a month old. I love being a "mimi" and spoiling them!

My son Ethan is 21 and works for Reach Wireline. He is headed to Louisiana to be a Lineman.

I am a single mom. My husband Brad passed away from cancer 7 years ago.

Some of my favorite things to do are read, go to the movies, go out to eat, and paint. I love traveling. I love spending time with family ( all of mine live in Louisiana, where I'm from) and playing with my granddaughters. My house is a regular zoo with 2 French bulldogs and 3 cats. 

I love my job and my goal is to treat your children with love and respect and to make learning fun.
